I changed my views on same-sex marriage. Though I don’t personally agree with Homosexuality, I believe that Homosexuals have the right to live by their lifestyle. Though marriage is between a man and a woman.

This is the same nonsense that is going on in parliament. This back and forth thing. If we are all thinking about the people’s needs, and the people need good health care, then why is there such a big argument. All parties should get together, sit down and draft up something. Something like what was done to draft the constitution.

I don’t see the world in black and white.For example, unlike you, I think that the Mexican-American war is far more complex than just big bad imperialist America stealing land from Mexico. Mexico also wanted the war and also wanted more territory. In fact, the world assumed that Mexico would win the war. Had Mexico won the war, if the US continued to exist, it would’ve been America that lost territory. Anyway, that’s another subject.
You are a leftist anti-American propagandist even if you’re not a registered member of the Democrats.

What kind of “services” would you want the government to run? That’s the question.
By the way, I’m for same-sex marriage. I hope you condemn the homophobia from the Islamo-Fascist ideology? Islamo-Fascists kill and torture Homosexuals. Compared to that, the Christian right being opposed to same-sex marriage is peanuts. The question is: Do you condemn Iran, one of America’s totalitarian enemies, when it publicly hangs Homosexuals? If I’m a Homosexual, I’d rather have to deal with someone just opposed to same-sex marriage than to be hanged publicly. I understand the the world is not black and white or red and blue. For make no mistake about it. This is a leftist propaganda article. The Homophobia comes, not from Republicans, but from Islamo-Fascists, who many leftists whitewash and/or collaborate with [not assuming that you're one of them]. Why do leftist bash events like Islamo-Fascism Awareness week, which actually exposes the crimes committed by Islamo-Fascists that includes those committed against Homosexuals? Why do leftists bash Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, which is exposing the truth about the xenophobic [including Homophobic] nature of Islamo-Fascism? Hopefully, you agree with me about what a threat it is. America actually fights for the freedom of Homosexuals, women and others when it comes to its war on Islamo-Fascism.

Oh, Mr. Solomon, you truly see the world in black and white… or perhaps red and blue. Thank you for reminding me I’m not proud to be an American. I think pride should be reserved for something one has achieved. If you had to fight your way to citizenship, then you can be proud.

Now, onto more of your attacks on my article: Clearly you need further explanation. I am not a registered Democrat and have no intention of ever becoming as such. What I have are beliefs and values much closer to the Democratic side than anything. That does not mean I stick to every word that comes out of a Democrat’s mouth. In fact, I think we could probably agree about keeping government out of things as much as possible.

What we disagree on is the difference between government control and help from the government. I fully support the government providing services through taxation. I do not, however, support the government making decisions for the people. I.E. I do not believe the government should be telling homosexuals not to get married. That seems to be the issue in the spotlight again, at least temporarily.

Ahh, some more leftist propaganda from my anti-American friend [this author also wrote an anti-American article called "Smothered by the flag", which attacks proud Americans and which claims that Americans use the most resources]. Contrary to the leftist propaganda in this article, the GOP is for health care reform, just not the reform that gives government control over health care. The move to get more government control of health care is pushed by Obama and the Democrat bureaucrats in congress, as well as by the extreme leftists in the Democrat party, Even a Democrat Doug Schoen is speaking up against Obama’s radical agenda [even while denying that it's Socialist]. Dick Morris also speaks out against Obama’s Socialist agenda including his health care agenda. He worked for Bill Clinton. Corporations and insurance companies compete against each other. I’m not going to defend the insurance companies. But with Obama’s agenda, government will have complete control over health care, instead of companies having to worry about competition. Corporations aren’t able to take control because they have to worry about competition. This author seems to support appeasing totalitarian enemies like Iran, Syria, Cuba and Chavez’s Venezuela. If I am wrong about that last statement, then tell me.
America has done more to bring freedom. In fact, Bush liberated millions of people in Afghanistan and Iraq. This article is more leftist nonsense.
