States Also Embraced The Big Ten:

Expressing concern over the delay in the major states of the right to education provisions, the Minister of Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal said on Wednesday that there will be a "historic failure" if the law does not apply throughout the country.

Expressing concern over the delay in the major states of the right to education provisions, the Minister of Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal said on Wednesday that there will be a “historic failure” if the law does not apply throughout the country.

“It will be a historic failure, if approved the Act, but does not apply,” said Sibal at a function here refers to some States have not notified the rules for real-time evaluation for the time.

The law was passed last year and so far 20 States have notified the rules of real-time evaluation. However, the important states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and West Bengal have not been implemented.

Mr. Sibal addressing the Ministers of Education on ways to promote and raise awareness across the country about the benefits of the Law on RTE.

A national campaign will be launched from Noah, Mew at inHaryana from November 11 to promote real-time evaluation in schools.

A message from the Prime Minister on RTE each director of the school will be read at the meeting of the school.

The campaign will be included in the 13 lakh schools across the country, the minister said.

Ten states have implemented support center for the opening of local schools and other infrastructure.

West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu told reporters that his government would notify the rules of real-time evaluation at the end of November.
