The French mission to the UN said the main committee of the International Organization on Wednesday recognized the envoys appointed by Alassane Ouattara, United Nations who says he won on President Laurent Gbagbo in a presidential election in Ivory Coast.

The French mission to the UN said the main committee of the International Organization on Wednesday recognized the envoys appointed by Alassane Ouattara, United Nations who says he won on   President Laurent Gbagbo in a presidential election in Ivory Coast.

The French mission announcement published by in front on Twitter  that the Accreditation Committee of the General Assembly of the UN “recognize the new diplomats of the Ivory Coast” who Vodthm Government Ouattara.

The diplomat told  media that the UN Security Council is expected to approve formally the General Assembly the decision of the Accreditation Committee on Thursday.

Gbagbo refuses  to step down in the wake of the elections held on 28 November, which says Western countries and the United Nations that the winner is the competitor Ouattara, sparking a political crisis that killed 50 people and threaten to re-ignite civil war ravaged country in western Africa in 2002 and 2003.

The diplomat said the step taken by the United Nations will increase the isolation of Gbagbo, who has a small number of supporters across the international community.

He added that Alisidi Djedje Gbagbo, Ambassador to the United Nations have already left New York as well as all his aides and they took with them the hard drives of computers from a mission to Ivory Coast. Djedje and is now the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Gbagbo.
