The Government in Rich Country and Government in Poor Country are They the Same
A comparison of two governments.
I took the challenge to write an article about ‘’Maintenance and government infrastructures’’ from a friend in Nigeria, because you all know it is a country I did visit last year. In first I was totally awe, I ask if he could ease the challenge for me, thinking that I could not do it. Then later after pondering the subject I have decide to get it done. So here are my own thoughts on the subject.
I could easily go back to Nigeria in Edo State and talk about the poor less of the infrastructures and the way the government is acting toward his own people. But let me first of all, just talk about my own country and the similarity between them.
For century, Canada became a marvellous country and we are all proud of it, every province succeed to reach and develop themselves through all the years, new building, road, bridge, housing, guidance ,rules and laws. Are they? If we go back in the past, when there were horses instead of cars when we could see solid house made by man. Road without leaving any detail behind. They were built for years and years to come. We knew that, well at least they knew that. But government sit on that affirmation they neglect to repair the structures getting old or just to take time to have them check out to see any defect. In the past few years we have seen bridge falling down killing many persons. They did spend their money on election one after the other one, now we have prime minister able to travel around the world, they can have big meetings, big dinner party or even sponsor illegitimate project. Of course they did take care of some of the medical systems or even the school. Oh yes I admit there is also many good thing they have done along the years to make us proud to be Canadian. But promises after promises when they are at the head of the government they forgot the priorities. Now in 2009, were they? There is so many of the promises left behind, now they do not even know where to start because of the excessive cost. They we are witnessing parties fighting and accusing the other to be ignorant of the real need of our society. It is getting worst every day, every mandate are the same. When would they take their real responsibilities and stop playing yo-yo with our votes.

What a comparison. How can there be so much poverty in the world when there are such riches elsewhere? A very good article.
