The Irish Republican Army: Terrorist or Not Terrorist?

            Now, after all of these reasons as to why the Irish Republican Army is a terrorist organization have been presented, one might still argue that since Sinn Fein wants peace, and they created the IRA, why would the IRA be terrorist if the creators want peace?  Since the creators of the IRA originally used violence to gain power, they are a terrorist group.  It is only now that Sinn Fein has become a peaceful group.  This has no effect on the IRA, however, because the IRA is a separate group from Sinn Fein.  Now that you know about the Irish Republican Army, you can take action.  You can write to your representative to help convince the British that the IRA deserves their freedom, after 90 years of struggles.
