The Most Powerful Branch of Government

After examining the structure of government created under the Constitution of 1787, I believe that the founders wanted the legislative branch to be the most powerful. I believe that this branch as it is the branch of the law. It decides about laws, and so has a lot of impact – and power – in our nation. The other branches are powerful, yes, but I believe that the legislative branch is the most powerful of the three branches of government. The separation of powers is supposed to divide the power evenly, but I don’t think that is does. I also believe that it is the most powerful branch today, as it still is the ‘law’ branch.
