Many of the African countries are led by old leaders who have run out of ideas, but still want to stay in there.
The real reason why African countries are backward is because they are managed by leaders who have outlived their usefulness and are struggling with age without any new ideas. Below you will discover the average age of some of the African leaders who run their countries.

It is not about the age, but the strategies that they use! Even old people in India use fresh strategies – driven by the officers who work for them and make the nation grow!
