The Truth About Visa Assistance
Information to help you decide before seeking Visa or Immigration Assistance.
Why do people go to other countries?
Perhaps, people wants to go abroad, maybe for pleasure(?), to work, or to live permanently in another country. Whatever the reasons are, in general, most people went abroad looking for greener pasture. Well, whatever the reasons are, there’s nothing wrong about it. Problem is, in most cases, a bigger percentage of these number of people who wants to go away becomes victim of their dreams. Oftentimes, the dream of having a good life becomes a nightmare that haunts ones life and even the whole family. Finances are drained, pockets and wallets turns out empty. Why?… Because there are lots of beasts roaming around ready to victimize these individuals.
How to avoid this bitter instance?
Evidently, the proliferation of Travel Agencies and Consultancy Firms doing visa assistance is part of the predicament. Some of those firms are legal and some are fraud. Unfortunately, it’s so hard to distinguish which is which among those firms unless you will do your own investigation. There are firms that displays legal papers showing that they are licensed to operate such business. Well, in order to confirm the legality of these papers, conduct an investigation. However, even though a certain firm is operating legally, still, there is an instance that the element of fraud is involve in the business operation.
Most of those Agencies and Firms promises Heaven and Earth in order for them to get applicants and customers, and that is where the fraud comes in. Who the hell could promise Heaven and Earth? Only mortals could do the promise, and sad to say, that will always remain a promise. No firm or agency could give an assurance or guarantee that a visa will be granted once an application has been lodged to the embassy. Why?… Only the embassy has the power to guarantee such matter. Always remember that Consular Officers has the power to deny or grant the visa, they call it “discretionary power”. Even though you have an immigration lawyer who is handling your case, still, it’s not 100% that your application will be approved. Again, why?… It is the embassy or the immigration who will evaluate, adjudicate your application. Remember, each case is meritorious, it depends on how it was presented and the evidences that supports it. There are even some instances that they (lawyers) will tell you that they could handle the case, but you will find out later that they are not representing you the way it should be, or they are not attending to your application diligently.
There are also agencies, consultancy firms, who boast of their capability to have the application approved, but in reality those agencies are inexperienced to handle visa applications. Sales talk is part of the business. The best thing to do is to dig deeper with your investigation. Find out when did this company started its operation. Do they have accreditation with the immigration or are they authorized to represent someone before the embassy or the immigration office? Investigate! Don’t be intimidated.
