Von voyage Filipinas!

All of us – Filipinos, foreign residents, and the unborn are all passengers onboard the same ship called “Republic of the Philippines.” Our one and only Ship of State we must not allow falter or deteriorate neither should anyone put more holes in our already leaky ship – but all should pull an oar or plug a hole otherwise, we will sink together goodbye.

Any ship is bound to encounter stormy weather as well as other obstacles along the way. The ship captain and crew must therefore be extremely careful in navigating every step of the way, avoiding hazards that impede our forward movement or damage the ship. If unable to do so, the skipper may be changed, but it is absolutely critical that:

  1. A more competent skipper and crew members are put in command and control;
  2. The movement towards a better future is maintained;
  3. Our ship remains seaworthy, functional, and efficient.

With the present stormy political weather, those onboard must not create more confusion, which promotes anarchy or reduces the seaworthiness of our ship, which has a long way to go.

“FVR’s Sermons, volume II”

Republic of the Philippines – ship of state

PGMA – ship captain

Government political officials – crewmembers

We-Filipinos – passengers

Political struggle, broadband issues, red alerts, continuing protest rallies – the present stormy weather

The bottom line is… a Nation’s or Government salvation and ability to survive or make its mark in history, determined by the quality of each people – who compose it.

Have a triumphant arrivals!
