Red light violations are very common. Being such a fast-paced society in such a hurry all the time, many of us try to beat the yellow light only to be too late and end up running the red light. 5. Child restraints
It is the law that you have a child (Under 6 years of age and 60 pounds) in a rear car seat. A child over 6 years old and over 60 pounds must be in a rear seat restraint.

Unbelievably, it is still too common that parents leave their children who are 6 years old and younger in the car while they run into the store or place of business. With all that is happening in our society today, please do not violate this law.

7. Speeding
Speeding ranks up there among the number one traffic violation committed. The fine depends on the actual speed limit on the road you are driving.

8. Double yellow lines
Double yellow lines let drivers know they should not cross over. Places such as, car pool lanes or divided road ways are common and warn drivers it is unsafe to make turns, change lanes or driving over.

Reminders are necessary from time to time that we drive safely, obey the laws and rules of the road, so we can avoid having to pay fines.
