Twisted Leadership
Twisted ideas, concepts, and realizations of leadership.
“I’m a good economist but a bad politician” as President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo fornicated these words last year. During this period, it was the time that she was losing her popularity (accdg. to SWS-Social Weather Station) as RP President. But then again, regain her popularity when she ordered Presidential Pardon to former Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada. The “Masang Pilipino” as well as the opposition would call her the “Super-Her”. They got to be twisted, because that’s the power of the womanoids.
On the other hand, how can we define leadership in our department? Could it be a leader with a prodigious talent? Our school is sautéed with different dilemma when it comes to leadership. A dilemma between a good but passive leader and a bad but always in action leader. Can we just choose what’s in the middle?
McGregor defines leadership as inducing followers to act towards goal that represent the values of both the leader and the followers. These are flamboyant, very ideal in a sense. In our own perspective, we should see that a leader is also a teacher. We should look for an instructionally effective school. We could attain this but we have to see to it that we set norms and standards for what an Instruction Leader is. We need a leader who “runs a tight ship, sure keeps the school in ship-shape, sure keeps the parents at bay and knows the school inside out.”
A visionary leader take-charge in the operational maintenance program, (As PGMA look like this) promotes transparency, formulates policies and projects, prepares school budget proposals, sets mission and vision, introduces new innovative modes and instructions, establishes school and community networks, a leader and its functions should act and involve directly to his/her responsibilities. Further more, a leader should demonstrate a commitment to academic goals, marshalling resources for the betterment of the school, and of course, a leader should use time wall. A strong administrative leadership is a qualification. And we can really see that to our President. She/he is the masterful character that easily resolve the problems brought by chaoticians.
And we must not forget of a leader who is morally detained to what is right and not an uncouth one. This is a challenge to those who want to become leader. I hope you’re not be blinded by a twisted leadership and I refuse to believe that everybody refuses to believe the truth.

it was a good article since it tacles about leadership…and think the one who wrote the article is a teacher because she is a leader of her own.
