Urinals and City Councilman

Keith Bell of of the Roswell Daily Record either is not too fond of City councilman Bob Maples or was paid by the RDR to sketch this picture of a urinal directing Robert Maples to piss in the urinal rather than on his fellow city councilman. Adjacent to the urinal is the “graffiti like” etching “for a good time call 624-6700″ which is the phone number for the city of Roswell. This was quite a tasteless act by the Roswell newspaper editorial board even though there are 3 or 4 red hot horny MILFS wearing skin tight skirts working for the city of Roswell who most certainly would provide a “good time”.  

Maples represents Ward 1 in Roswell, New Mexico and is no stranger to controversy. Many faithful RDR subscribers will remember the article detailing around 20 acts of vandalism/damage  to Robert Maples’ car and property. While any act of vandalism is never justified, one has to wonder what Maples did to elicit so many hateful, retributive acts? Bob Maples always speaks his mind and does not get along well with Mayor Del Jurney or councilwoman Judy Stubbs. He is a principled man who is not afraid to fight for what he believes is right in behalf of his constituents! Yes, Maples is that guy that always screams middle school type taunts at the referees in your child’s basketball game, but you want him on your side when the chips are down. He completely understands the challenges associated with raising a family and makes informed decisions with respect to Roswell’s overall welfare.

You may recall and article written by Cid Standifer back in 2009 where Maples inexplicably backed off annexation. A year later he opened a church in the Dairy Capital of the Southwest proudly announcing he would show up even if nobody else did. BTW Standifer was the RDR roving reporter with the gaudy necklace who left the newspaper way too soon. Her articles were informative and well researched.
