Usps Post Office in Palm Coast,florida

I on a semi-regular basis use the USPS main post office in Palm Coast,Florida. I find the majority of the staff polite,and customer friendly. Although there are a couple of them most of all one of the female staff members who look like total,and utter zombies,and act like one when you are served by them. I just do not understand why you would want to work a job you seem very unhappy with? But for the most part all the staff are nice enough to pretty much everyone.

I do have another gripe. The staff are not in unison with the cost of services. I am always told different things when it comes to delivery confirmation specifically by one member of staff. She always tell me the package has to be at least one inch thick to get delivery confirmation,but the other all tell me that it’s not true. Also with the “if it fit,it ships” packages one member of staff would not let me send it at the standard price and tried to make me pay double the price only because it apparently wasn’t shut properly? Her supervisor looked at it,and we agreed to tape it up a little more to keep her satisfied. I still do not see the problem as it would have been shipped anyway,and they where trying to make me pay $30.00,instead of $14.95 just for the tiniest of gaps.

Also they are never stocked with packaging enough,and you would think that someone would be assigned to stock it several times a day seeming the lines are so long all day long. I always go in on different times of the day in hope to catch a quiet time to line up,but it is always full of other paying customers. 

All in all my level of experience has been more bad than good with this post office. The nearest main office is about a twenty minutes drive away down near Flagler beach. This one always treat me right,and explains to me everything. I like it much better there,and would use that one seeming it is quiet enough for my liking. But seeming I cannot drive,I can’t get there. 

I would use the self check out machine,but it has been down a lot,and I do not trust the machines,but again as much as the staff’s customer manner is ok,they try to make as much money out of me as possible,but they will not make any money at all from me again if they keep over charging me,and trying to get me to over fill envelopes to make sure it is over an inch think to charge me more postage. 

Good luck to whom ever uses this post office,and make sure you go in knowing the correct information otherwise you might be made to pay far more than you really need to. I have heard several people in line call out members of staff,although the last one didn;t have a receipt for what she was calling the guy out for,so she couldn’t prove her case.
