Washington Accuses Damascus of Involvement in Violence in Syria

Regime in Damascus accuses U.S. of involvement in "bloody events" in Syria, the Arab League asking for help in a letter to this organization.

According to the letter, Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid Mouallem, accusingWashington ”of involvement in current events in Syria”, urging the Arab League to”condemn this commitment and to do everything possible to end”.

According to the letter, Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid Mouallem, accusingWashington ”of involvement in current events in Syria”, urging the Arab League to”condemn this commitment and to do everything possible to end”.

Syria, which he accepted without reservation Arab plan for overcoming the crisis, askthe Arab League to intervene for “creating an atmosphere appropriate application of the Agreement.”

Arab Plan provides total cessation of violence, release arrested protesters, militarywithdrawal from cities and free movement of observers and journalists.

Syrian security services operations continued after the announcement of the agreement, 70 people were killed in the city of Homs.
