What is Anarchy?

From the dictionary it means there’s no government, where people have the freedom to live without a government. There would need to be big committees of people to start a new revolution. There needs to be follower that joins the revolution, to expand the committees even further.

I don’t think Anarchy would really accomplish anything, if anything we would be hurting ourselves. Most people that believe in Anarchy are most likely steal because there’s not any form of government to stop crime or punish criminals. If you commit one crime you’re more likely to commit more. Guns would most likely become a really big problem. Guns on the streets in people’s hands that are not responsible enough would raise the death rate from guns.

Anarchy: 1 a: absence of government b: a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority c: a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government2 a: absence or denial of any authority or established order.

The French revolution was a time when high ranked families were killed threw anarchy. Radical people killed fellow members of society leaving fear in their lives. “The French Revolution, wrote that the French Revolution was a war against both aristocracy and Anarchy,” said Thomas Carlyle.  During this time people were very unhappy about anarchy rules the streets. It was a time of great destruction and killing of innocent people. Today we have happy to have a government to punish criminals for their crimes.

Jamaica had a few of its own problems to worry about during the year 1720. During this time period, Jamaicans had very little education and crime rates started to rise.  England started invading Jamaica whom had a small government and Jamaica had lost control of their people.  England tried to create a law called the Deficiency Act.  The Deficiency Act required that each slave owner had to have one white person for every forty slaves.   Jamaica was hit hard during the invasion of England while Jamaica was a low state of anarchy.

Somalia in the 1990’s had little government, high crime rates and no court system. It was a society that was unorganized and some what chaotic.  This society of life was equal on terms of wealth. There was less poor people and less rich people. This would cause people more on an equal side of poverty.  The problem was that there was no court system and criminals could roam to commit more crimes causing an anarchy way of life.

In 1649 there was a group of English men who where gold diggers.  During that year the group of English diggers more than doubled in members.  The diggers were faced with crime from the government and mobs. Both the government and mobsters were interested in the land.  The government harassed them with legal actions.  The mobsters were involved by trying to take over the land.   There were many illegal and violent crimes committed to the land owners. The form of anarchy used here was harassment to the diggers and land owners.  The government and mobsters were trying to scare the diggers and land owners so they could dig the gold for themselves.  There was a formation of gangs and mobs. The mobs and gangs were then divided after a founding of more gold.

In the passed we have seen anarchy many in many forms throughout history. Anarchy could be bad in many different ways.   In society today, it would be more Sevier than it was 500 years ago.  If anarchy were to rise in our country, the first falter would be the economy. The government would have no control and chaos would be everywhere.  Life would end as we know it.  I believe that our country is slowly heading toward Anarchy.

This isn’t really an accurate portrayal of anarchists and anarchy in general. How can you discuss anarchy when you don’t even mention ideas like these: anti-authoritarian, non-hierarchical, anti-oppression, anti-domination, anti-exploitation, etc…

from Greek anarkhia “lack of a leader,” noun of state from anarkhos “rulerless,” from an- “without” + arkhos “leader” While it may be without a leader it is not necessarily without government.
