includes Hainan Island and other nearby islands. - The Great Wall is a well known wall
built to protect China’s northern border in the 3rd century BC. - Around late September the
Chinese people celebrate the moon festival. - During Chinese New Year married couples
give red envelopes/lucky money to kids, singles and parents. - On this day, people wear
red clothes because in the Chinese culture red symbolizes happiness. - On the 15th day
after Chinese New Year people celebrate the lantern festival which also marks the end of
the new year celebration. - The Chinese culture has been modified from the ancient times
