26/11: The Day Terror Stroked Mumbai
26/11: The ill-fated day for every Indian.
It was just like an ordinary day in life of every Indian, but as soon as it was night, the next 60 hours were totally awful for every Indian. The day was 26th of November 2008. No Indian can forget this ill-fated night. There was terror in the air and every Indian was caught in the hands of terror. Let’s see what actually happened that night.

It was around 9 o’ clock pm when some of the terrorists started spreading terror. The terrorists captured one of the most prestigious heritages of India, Taj Hotel. One more hotel was under the terrorist attack and that was The Trident hotel. 60 hours of continuous firing took place. It was a night when many brave hearts lost their lives. Some of them were Mr. Hemant Kakare, Mr. Vijay Salaskar, etc. Let me narrate you a story of a very brave policeman who did a very courageous deed for his mother country India. This policeman was almost injured and on him was bodies of many policemen some of whom were dead and some were seriously injured. They were all in a police van. This van was stopped by the terrorist and the main inspectors named above were thrown out of the van and killed by 2 terrorists Ajmal Amir Kasab and his partner. They took control of this van and moved on. The policeman about whom I am talking about was below the others and they could not make any sound because if they did so then they would get killed. So, the policemen who were injured remained quiet. After some time a policeman’s mobile phone started ringing. Considering this as a threat for the terrorists one of the terrorist removed his AK47 and shot at the mobile phone and the police whose mobile it was died. Now the policeman whom I am talking was below them and he informed all the police about this van’s whereabouts and hence they were able to spot the terrorists and thus Ajmal Amir Kasab was caught. Till date he is been questioned by the Mumbai police.

There are many such stories of heroic deeds by even the common man. This date has asked a question to Indians. The question is: Will you still be quiet after so much violence? The answer should be no! But the Indian government is still quiet. Why is this so? I am not blaming anyone. But Indians should give a strong fight to the Lashkar! Terrorism should be stopped. We SHOULD make this world a better place for us to live in. We SHOULD heal the World! We SHOULD treat everyone equal, be it Hindu, Muslim, Christian or anyone. This war should be stopped. This will lead to nothing else but a third World War. In the end I would like to quote these lines said by Einstein.
“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
- Albert Einstein.
