On September 11, 2001 at 8:46 AM an airliner hits the north trade center building, Shortly after another hits the south building. The buildings begin to pancake and collapse and soon are a pile of rubble. This date along with Pearl Harbor would be a day America lives in infamy. Another plane hits the Pentagon, and another in a small town in Pennsylvania. In the end nearly 3000 people are dead, all of them on American soil. This terrible thing was the work of Al-Qaeda whom we actually help build back in the sixties as a counter Soviet Russia group. How could we let this happen in our own homeland?

This was like a slap in the face to America saying “Get with it!” So now we are stepping up security a whole bunch in airports and other various transportation stations. Nowadays it’s impossible to get caught dead with a 4oz bottle of shampoo in an airport. We’ve made our security impenetrable, we don’t take and risks at all, if something looks suspicious its gone either in the trash or back home. America won’t let what happened on 9/11 happen again, ever. While 9/11 was a hard hit it helped us realize that we were being too easy on everyone in a very potentially dangerous situation.
