A Mysterious Martian Cave Was Discovered … American Students
A group of seventh grade students in California has identified a variety of mysterious cave on Mars…..
The discovery was made in a scientific research project of the images captured by a NASA spacecraft, orbiting the Red Planet.
The 16 students from Evergreen Secondary School in Cottonwood, Calif., have discovered what appears to be a kind of skylights, a hole in the ceiling of a cave on Mars. Discover new phenomenon and has features similar to formations seen on other parts of the planet in a study conducted in 2007.

It is believed that on the caves on Mars are the result of volcanic activity of the Red Planet. At one time, rivers of lava, probably dug in the rock and left behind their tunnels or “lava tubes”, following the eruptions. They were then covered when a ceiling fan cooled solid material were deposited on top. Portions of the ceiling have collapsed and later formed “holes” such as that recently discovered.
Scientists are not sure what types of materials or deposits may be stored inside the Martian caves. It is estimated about “pit”, recently located near Pavonis Mons volcano, that measures about 190 feet in length and 160 in width, with a depth of at least 115 meters. Now, the little research, with NASA people, hoping to obtain more detailed images and the place to be able to look inside the cave.
