Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s history is full of violence, death and war. They are a proud people with the will to defend their country from foreign invaders. This they have made clear over the last fifty years or so.

They have fought off evil from every corner in the world. And have been the subject to more attacks then any other nation on the globe.

But why does everybody see it necessary to conquer these people? They have no gold, no silver, but yet everyone wants to control them. But they always fail.

In the late 1970’s the Russian empire invaded Afghanistan. And it worked. At first. But as the people grew tired of being robed, raped, and killed they started to fight back! And in the next few years with the help of the American dollar and their own will the Afghans drove the evil empire out forever! Soon after the Russian military and government fell to its knees and were forever a part of the past.

In 2001 one month after the attack on the world trade center US forces also took up the rifle against Afghanistan. And within months the country was under our control. Seven years later they remain a free country and guarded by the United States of America. It takes a great nation to spent their own time and money to free another man’s lands of death and chains.
