Bacteria are Eating The Remains of The Titanic

A new strain of bacteria is slowly eating away the titanic.

Recently, 27 strains of bacteria have been found in the remains of the Titanic. Apparently, they are the cause of the Titanic’s close destruction. Canadian researchers predicted that in 15 year’s time, the remains of this historical ship could be completely gone.

Some Background info:

The Titanic was the largest passenger ship of all times. But only after 4 days from leaving the port, it ran into an iceberg which made it sink at 2:20 AM, on the 15th of April. The ship was only equipped with a total of 20 live boats, compared to the 2,223 passengers on board. Almost 70% of the people on board the titanic were lost to the sea. The Titanic sunk in the year 1912, and was found 73 years later 300 miles from the coast of Newfoundland in Canada.
