Barack and Michelle Obama to Visit Buckingham Palace, The Two Met with Prince William and Kate Middleton

 President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, their first official visit to Great Britain.Presidential couple met Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall and saw a fresh and wife of Prince William, Kate Middleton, reports BBC.

Obama’s wife will stay for three days at Buckingham Palace. This evening, will attend a banquet at the palace.

Meeting with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge took about 20 minutes. They talked before the wife deserves to be led into their apartment.

The first official event since Kate Middleton became the Duchess of Cambridge. Obama’s wife, absent from the “wedding Century” on April 29 and congratulated the two.

In a few weeks ago, Obama told Prince Charles, in a meeting at the White House that his country was “fascinated” princely wedding. 

Among the gifts received by both the royal family include an antique gold brooch in the shape of red and coral roses, for the first lady of America. 

Obama will deliver a speech before the British Parliament on May 25, becoming the first American president and the foreign dignitaries would be fourth from the Second World War, addressed the Commons and Lords chambers meeting, after Pope Benedict XVI (2010), Nelson Mandela (1996) and Charles de Gaulle (1960).

Former U.S. presidents who made official visits to London have not had that honor: Bill Clinton in 1995 and Ronald Reagan in 1982. George Bush ought to address the British Parliament in 2003, but his speech was canceled because of protests against the intervention in Iraq.
