Carter Center Observers to Muster 22 Egyptian Elections

Carter Center observers to muster 22 Egyptian Elections,Carter Center, based in Atlanta agreed to send 22 observers to monitor Egypt’s presidential election next week, said U.S. State Department, Friday (18/5).

, “Carter Centre has received accreditation as one of the organizations that will oversee the election by the Election Commission of Egypt,” said State Department spokesman Victoria Nuland.

He said 22 observers from 14 countries will “join the delegation to the amount of 80 persons from 35 countries and they will be in Egypt a few days before and during the election,” says Nuland told reporters.
