Changing History to Make History Brighter
These events are events in my opinion that need to be removed.
Everyone of us wishes that certain events and occurrences wouldn’t have happened. Sometimes it’s a death in the family or a tragic event that will never be forgotten. At other times, it’s a historic event that needs to be altered or eliminated completely. The three momentous historic incidents that need to be erased from the human mind are the Holocaust, John F. Kennedy’s assassination, and September 11, 2001.
First, the Holocaust should be deleted from the history timeline. For it to be changed, America and Germany should’ve been warned ahead of time before this conflict happened. The president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, should’ve been alarmed to get involved before it got worse. If he would’ve heeded to the warning, Pearl Harbor wouldn’t have been bombed, and Hiroshima and Nagasaki wouldn’t have been wiped off the map. Germany’s people should’ve also been warned of what was to come. If they would’ve listened to the alarm, Adolf Hitler wouldn’t have given enough power to start World War Two. Furthermore, Germany wouldn’t have loss over 6 million of their Jews if all these warnings would’ve been taken to heart.
Second, John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s assassination shouldn’t have occurred. He and his wife should’ve been warned of that horrific day. His driver should’ve been told to take another route right before starting off to go to Dallas, Texas. If they didn’t heed to the message, the assassins should’ve been caught in the act of trying to snipe the President. And if that didn’t happen, John F. Kennedy’s security guards should’ve stuck to his side instead of moving away from him. Nonetheless, if just one of these alerts would’ve been put into action, this dreadful day would’ve been cleared from the American mind.
Lastly, the bloodcurdling day of September 11, 2001, should be squelched of the American history. For this to happen, New York City and Washington D.C. should’ve been notified of what was to happen. The mayor, police, and the World Trade Centers’ security should’ve been summoned about the two planes. President George W. Bush, the Pentagon’s security, and America’s Air Force should’ve been threatened of the third plane that was to smash into the Pentagon. Furthermore, these injunctions would’ve gave salvation to this event.
All of these past events need to be stripped from every human’s memory. If all the warnings, alarms, and alerts were to be carried through that I stated, millions of people wouldn’t have lost their lives and loved ones, today’s society would be a much better place, and many family trees would have been completed. So, if you could go back in history, what past events would you change and why?
