Part of this wonderful event is of course the use of money but with the soaring prices of products and services due to the global economic crisis, we must know how to save money without having to sacrifice a bit. As we all know, the best things in life are free well of course that includes love.

1. Nature trip in Manila Zoo.    Why not try being one with our mother earth by visiting the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden where it houses several endemic and indigenous species of animals like the bearcat, long-tailed macaques, and crocodiles. Do you know what the good thing about this is the entrance fee ranges from P20 to P40. That’s what you called a cheap date.
2. Luneta Stroll.    What could be more fulfilling than reminiscing the life and works of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal while enjoying your sweet time together. The park also houses several tourist spots and after a nice stroll around the park is a nice picnic with the food that you both prepared.
3. Date with the masters.    Relive the memories of your first date together by visiting the National Museum of the Philippines and be proud as you get to see the works of Juan Luna, Felix Resurrecion Hidalgo, Napoleon Abueva and other famous National Artists. The museum also houses several valued artifacts and all of these are for free when you visit the museum on Sunday. That’s cheap right?
4. Love in the sky.    Why not re-ignite the love you feel for each other by going to the bay side of SM Mall of Asia on a weekend where they exhibit free fireworks display every 7 p. m. on weekends.
5. Hear the Sunday mass.    The most important thing of all is by thanking God for giving him or her to you because out of the million people on earth, you were lucky to find the one who would complete your existence and after hearing the mass, you can enjoy eating dinner together at home.
