Children Illfurt

In 1864 a family began to have what you thought they were demonic manifestations. Today would have been called into question by scientists and followed with interest by the church but at the time, which lasted for five long years, life was different. Such was the atmosphere in 1867 was authorized to carry out an exorcism with the resulting overwhelming complications. For the kids “possessed” were called the evil of Illfurt (Alsace)

Bodies held in the holy water reacted with fury, and when the nun who dropped a feed of holy water drains on your dishes from the other room to not be seen, the children watched the plate and refused to eat.
