These weapons have been around for thousands of years. They were used against each other many times. They both have their advantages, but which one should you chose?

The Longbow has many advantages, it has a much faster fire rate compared to the crossbow, and can be fired from long distances. The long bow helped many empires expand their borders. In England at one point, men were forced to train with these. The English were experts with the longbow. The longbow however is harder to aim.

The crossbow is easier to aim than a longbow, but it does have some problems. The crossbow is considered the first gun. It has the trigger system like a gun does. The reload time is quite slow. A crossbow has shorter range.

Now which weapon is better in battle? The crossbow maybe good for a close range one versus one battle. The longbow however would be good in an army versus army battle.
