D-Day
About operation overlord.
The Allied forces did not look like they were doing so well in the beginning but they made a comeback and somehow won the battle. This battle was grim but the one with 3200 people dead (Vogt, 49) at you guessed it, Omaha was the bloodiest battle and earned the nickname Bloody Omaha. All the other beaches the casualties were lighter than this one. So now I have explained why Omaha was the bloodiest beach out of the five in and on d-day so now you know and thus now concludes my information. Over and out.
