DC Holocaust Museum and Spiegelman’s Novel “Maus”: Two Ways to Describe the Holocaust
Brief Description of what to expect when visiting the Holocaust Museum of Washington DC and Art Spiegelman’s novel “Maus: A survivor’s tale”.
Both the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Maus: A Survivor’s Tale, present the Holocaust in very effective styles. The Museum centers its focuses on your own use of Imagination with its great, mysterious architecture and setting. The Museum itself is greatly centered around those who are generally older and able to understand what is being presented to them while on the tour. Maus offers the opportunity to relive the life of a true holocaust survivor that people of all ages are able to read and understand. The Holocaust is an event that should always be remembered. We should never forget. Millions of innocent victims died due to this tragedy and the world cannot let this happen again.
