Dinesh D’souza- A Crusader or a Crackpot
Well I am trying to understand the ideology of Mr D’Souza who has ridiculed Barack Obama about not living a American dream rather his Father’s dream.
Dinesh D’Souza who is a noted conservative, had reprimanded Barack Obama for not living up to the expectation of an average American. Mr D’Souza publicly said about Obama ,”Our President is trapped in his father’s time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s. This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anticolonial ambitions, is now setting the nation’s agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son. The son makes it happen, but he candidly admits he is only living out his father’s dream. The invisible father provides the inspiration, and the son dutifully gets the job done. America today is governed by a ghost.”
I agree everyone has the right of expression but they should be backed by evidence and unfortunately, Mr D’Souza has never presented any evidence to support his statement against The President. He made this comment in the edition of Fortune magazine about Obama.
He authored a book titled The Enemy at Home: The Cultural Left and its Responsibility for 9/11 and held America responsible for the terroist acts. He wrote that America’s moral depravity has angered Muslims which now percieve every Americans as a threat. His anger against Americans is in congruence with the hatred of radical muslims against America. As a Christial Apologist, i dont expect him to ridicule any culture and lifestyle of others. Though he is conservative, he should remember he is in America and not India where he was born.
I don’t like Obama for appointing the same treasury guys which were employed in Bush administration which in part were responsible for the debacle of the American economy, but this doesn’t undermine his efforts to quit Afghanistan and Iraq. He had given the American economy financial stimulus without which the global economy would had flattened. Though, i wish he should be more harsh on Wall street guys who has made billions when nearly 8 million people lost their jobs.
In the end i would like to say, Mr D’Souza be pragmatic and open your eyes as governing a country like America is not a easy job and try to look at the brighter side.
Cheers!!!!!
