It is estimated that 1 million US lives were saved by dropping those bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and probably a greater number of Japanese lives.

The only animals I know of that we have hunted to extinction are the Dodo bird and some big Manetee thing that used to live off of American shores.

Chernobyl we can blame on the communists (anyone paying attention to Obama’s cabinet)

The iraqis also set thousands of oil wells on fire to cover their retreats after pillaging Kuwait. (You remember the Iraqis those are the innocent people we ruthlessly invaded because George Bush was upset that Saddam had angered his dad.) that last bit was not directed at the author of this article.

Honestly this article is a great reminder of what we need to keep in check. I enjoyed it very much.

I think the 1984 Bhopal disaster from Union Carbide ranks up there as well it had significant loss of life and probably is still causing premature deaths from chemical related complications.
