Do You Enjoy Native American History

While other people could not really care less, there are also a lot of folks who are really into history. I have made this observation because this was what I noticed when I went into college. The historical background of some places in the world seem to be very intriguing to some, but the rest of the people simply found it plain boring. Some people even went on and on in ranting about the past where we did not live in. This point is, who cares really? This is one point of view people have regarding history. I personally feel that this is not a very brilliant opinion. As all of us probably realize, it is important that we understand and learn about the things that are going on in the times past. We have to be aware of the lives and times of people who came  before we did,  and why they did things and made laws. I think the main reason for this is that we can also learn from the past mistakes that they have made. For me, this just makes so much perfect sense. What do you know with regards Native Americans history? I think that this is one aspect we need to learn more about, too.

When I was still growing up, my dad and my oldest sibling were so much interested in history, especially the history regarding Native Americans. My family has always had a very special place in their heart for the old school way of life and culture. I did not really understand the reason until I became a bit older. Then I understand their interest. I have a very outdoorsy family and up to now.  When I was still in my junior year of high school, the oldest brother in our family was telling his new wife how cool it must be to live inside a teepee. I felt that this is just too absurd. I mean, I can appreciate and even learn about the native Americans history but I do not really have to reside in a teepee or wigwam. Please, I need a break. Even my brother’s new wife did not find this idea too much fun either. As of now, let us just say that my brother had to be contented with his long bow and moccasins for now. The wigwam was not going to happen.

I personally think that it is so wonderful to be interested in the other cultures all over the world. We should all take the initiative  of expanding our minds and learning new things. We can easily experience Native Americans history through reading more books or looking it up in the Internet. I think that this is a nice way to learn more about history and open our minds. There are definitely a lot of great things about this cultural heritage that you might want to practice or adopt. Get on the internet right now so you can learn about Native Americans history.
