Effect of Industrial Revolution
Industrial revolution and their effect in productive processes.
The middle of the 18th century has been commonly accepted as the time of the onset of what is called the industrial revolution. The effect of the industrial revolution was to bring about a far-reaching change in business organization.
This revolution consisted of the application of mechanical power to productive processes until then derived of animal or human sources; The establishment of the factory system, under which production workers were assembled in a central location as opposed to the precedent domestic system, under which the workers performed their productive everyday jobs in their own homes.

The industrial revolution developed principally in England but moved, within a relatively short time, to America where it had a profound impact on the industrial development of the country. The industrial revolution brought about a gradual increase in the size and scope of manufacturing establishments that was accelerated by the demands for war material generated by the Civil War.
Now the advent of mechanical power, complicated machinery, and extensive factory buildings called for large amounts of capital and, to an increasing extent, for more competent managerial personnel. Large companies began to appear and the dominance of the corporation began to emerge. So the effect of the industrial revolution was bringing about a far-reaching change in business organization.

I enjoyed reading this artice very much. As you say the Industrial Revolution began in England And expanded very rapidly for quit time( before America began to industrialised )The conditions people worked in at the time were terrible, probably far worse than now, in the new Tiger Economies.

In fact revolutions of any kind have their side effects as well, like we are facing them today. Any way every coins have two faces.

Industrial revolution did us a lot of good. Our own greed has brought about the bad effects.
