Egypt-should U.s.a. Intervene

When Egypt raised tons of money with the initial USA museum exhibitions of the treasure of King Tut, in the early 80s, they said it would go toward the preservation of antiquities in the Cairo Museum. Having been to the museum 3 times since then, there is no evidence that much has been done. Where did those millions go? It was obvious that the money had been used for other things. The poor in Cairo are stunning to see- in the USA we have shelters, even if the homeless choose not to go there. In Cairo people live in cemeteries or on the streets. It is easy to see how insurrection could happen. The chaos comes from people who are demonstrating without knowing how to solve their problem. They have no one to replace Mubarak. If he just steps down, someone evil will probably step in and use the military to force Egyptians into submission. Let European countries fight this fight- we should stay far away from it, Egypt doesn’t produce much oil- but they control the transport of alot of the oil. We don’t control Egypt at all. The last thing we need to be is mired in conflict again.

Alternate Opinion:
Egypt unrest is proved that America is supporting not only dictators and kings but real thugs who are ready to destabilized their own country and create chaos and civil war only to save his power. Rather than to request and urge the dictator to leave the position, Obama and Hillary should demand that he must leave or he should be arrested and charged for ruthless conduct and crimes against humanity. I can understand why Obama-Hillary and Biden cannot speak out only because our own empire is depending on these thugs and goons, who are controlling their masses ruthlessly so America can get OIL from that part of the world.
How ever you see this going down There will be a shift in power in Egypt and the United States will be involved in some way .There are to many promises that will have to be broken and the Suez Canal is way to valuable for the United States to do nothing.

Oil is very important. People rag on about oil profits and fail to realize that oil is used in most products that they use. And oil is why cars run. We mess up with oil producing nations, our economy will be effected.
People, especially the Left Wing ones, are extremely stupid.
