Ever Burning Lamp

Throughout human history, people discovered abundant evidences of a perpetual lamp which has been burning for ages in underground chambers and tombs.

Questions. How come not a single lamp has been preserved to be studied? The answer to that is yes. We do have a lamp from the ancient world burning through its way to a local monastery. However, here is the bad new, the lamp was dropped to the ground unintentionally by a monk and immediately destroyed.

On the other hand, those mystery lamps were destroyed as soon as it found by people. Some suggests magic or curse which protected those lamps from being found by us. They thought that no matter what ancient technology was, the ancients liked to remain that way rather than unraveled the mystery to us.

The existence of the ever burning lamp is a fact, undeniably. But why we with so much technology could not even afford to recreate the lamp. Here is the thought — maybe that skill has been long lost to us. For instance, we still could not explain how the Egyptians built their pyramid? How exactly they built it in the middle of nowhere? Or what was the true purpose of Stonehenge for?

In middle ages, scholars believed they had mystical power in order to keep burning,

Others believed this ever burning lamp has defied our law of attraction. So it was simply a no to the question. Some even think it was a prank pulled by our ancestors. (If that were true, our ancestors are quite humourous, don’t you think?)

Now, the question which we are all concern, what kind of energy source is that to keep the lamp from burning over millennia? Honestly, I would love to see how it works so we could all abandon our electricity and better, save money, save the earth!

But are they really burning for as long as undisturbed? Or is it something else which keeps it burning? Do those lamps need to be refill? Oh, maybe it was based on solar or wind or other alternative sources! But if we come to think it, they were hidden inside ancient tombs or temples, without sunlight or wind (they have shield covered from wind), so how are they keep burning?

Many assumed the key lies on the unknown liquid, it might be electricity! In middle ages, people had try to build their ever burning lamp but unsuccessful. The mystery of these perpetual lamps still remained a constant secret which lies the intelligence of our ancestors.
