 Therefore, these are the charts of numbers that marked the ancient history:

  1. 3500 – 5000 BC: Sumer, which is located in what is now known Iraq, became the earliest civilization.  Sumerians developed a written alphabet.
  2. 3500 – 2600 BC: Indians and Pakistanis are descendants of the ancient people who settled in the Indus River Valley.
  3. 2600 BC: Minoan civilization began on the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.
  4. 2560 BC: Egyptian King Khufu finished building the Great Pyramid at Giza.  The Great Sphinx was completed by his heir Kaefre.
  5. 2000 BC: Babylonians developed a system of mathematics.  Kush kingdom in Africa became a major trade and learning center.
  6. 1792 BC: Hammurabi became the ruler of Babylonia.  He created the Hammurabi Code.
  7. 1600 – 1050 BC: The Shang dynasty is the first Chinese dynasty that have written records.
  8. 1200 BC: Trojan War started between Greeks and Trojans.
  9. 814 BC: Carthage City, which is now located in Tunisia, was founded by the Phoenicians.
  10. 753 BC: Romulus founded Rome.
  11. 563 BC: Siddharta Gautama was born.  He is the founder o Buddhist religion.
  12. 551 BC: Confucius was born.  He is the founder of Confucianism.
  13. 510 BC: Democracy was established in Athens, Greece.
  14. 431 BC: Peloponnessian War broke out between Sparta and Athens.
  15. 404 BC: Sparta defeated and conquered Athens.
  16. 334 BC: Alexander the Great invaded Persia.  He conquered lands from Greece to India, even into North Africa.
  17. 100 BC: Teotihuacan City flourished Mexico.
  18. 58 BC: Julius Caesar left Rome to conquer Gaul, which is now known France, and conquered much of Central Europe.
  19. 44 BC: Julius Caesar was murdered.
  20. 27 BC: Octavian was the first Roman Emperor in a long period of peace. His title is Augustus.

Therefore, these are the random list of numbers that marked A. D. 1 – 999.  It is all started when Jesus Christ was born:

  1. Circa A. D. 1: Jesus Christ was born.
  2. 30 A. D. : Jesus Christ was crucified by Romans.
  3. 66 A. D. Jews rebelled during Romans regime.
  4. 70 A. D. : Roman destroyed Jerusalem and forced Jews into slavery.
  5. 79 A. D. : Mt. Vesuvius erupted and destroyed Pompeii City.
  6. 122 A. D. : Hadrian’s Wall  was built across Northern England for protection from barbarian tribes to the north.
  7. 250 A. D. : Mayan civilization began and lasted in 900 A. D.
  8. 330 A. D. : Constantine the Great chose Byzantine as the capital of Roman Empire.  That city is known as Constantinople.
  9. 476 A. D. : Roman Empire was collapsed.
  10. 622 A. D. : Muhammad fled from Mecca to Medina, which is also called Hegira.
  11. 632 A, D. : Muhammad’s death urged Muslims to conquered North Africa and Middle East.
  12. 711 A. D. : Muslim conquered Spain.
  13. 800 A. D. : Charlemagne was crowned by Pope Leo III.
  14. 960 A, D, : Song Dynasty began in China.

Therefore, these are the random list of numbers that marked the world history during 1000 – 1499.  It is started with European expeditions and the rebellion of Jews under Romans regime.

  1. Circa 1000 – 1300: Anasazi started their civilization into the sides of cliffs in what is now Southwestern United States.
  2. 1066: Norman King William, the Conqueror, invaded England and defeated English King Harold II at the Battle of Hastings.
  3. 1095: Pope Urban II urged Christians to conquered Holy Land from Muslims.
  4. 1096 – 1291: The longest period of Crusades, the battle of Christians and Muslims.
  5. 1200: Inca Empire began and built stone structures in Cuzco and Machu Picchu.
  6. 1533: Francisco Pizarro, a Spaniard, conquered Inca Empire.
  7. 1206: Temujin proclaim himself as Genghis Khan. His empire was expanded which included most of Asia.
  8. 1215: King John was forced by a group of English barons to sign the Magna Carta in order to limit the power of the king.
  9. 1271 – 95: Marco Polo, A Venetian merchant, traveled throughout Asia.  His book Il Milione is the source of information of the European about Asia.
  10. 1273: Hasburg dynasty began in Easter Europe.  Its power remained until World War I.
  11. 1325: Aztecs began building Tenochtitlan on the sites of Mexico City.
  12. 1337: Hundred Years War started between England and France.
  13. 1453: France defeated England.
  14. 1347: Black Death or Bubonic Plague spreaded throughout Europe and killed more than one – third of European.
  15. 1368: Ming Dynasty was founded in China by Zhu Yuanzhang.
  16. 1433: Portuguese explorer Gil Eannes sailed through Cape Bojador in Western Africa which he considered to be the end of the world.
  17. 1453: Constantinople was defeated by Ottoman Turks.  This is the end of Byzantine Empire.
  18. 1455: Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press.  Gutenberg Bible is its first publication.
  19. 1478: Spanish Inquisition began.
  20. 1487 – 88: Portugal Bartholomeu Dias leaded the first European expedition around the Cape of Good Hope at the Southern of Africa which opened up the sea route to Asia.
  21. 1492: Christopher Columbus left Spain.  He desired to sail to West Indies.  But, he landed in the Bahamas and visited Cuba, Hispaniola, which is known Haiti and Dominican Republic, and other small islands.
  22. 1497 – 99: Vasco de Gama leaded the first European expedition to India by sea via Cape of Good Hope.
