Frankish Empire
In 687 Pippin II, mayor Austrázie. again took the whole united empire and became the founder of the dynasty Karolovcov (sometimes also Karolingovcov), which however did not have a royal title. Pope also conquered the territory Ravenského Exarchate.
For the founder of his own Frankish Empire (486) is considered Clovis I. (481-511), while the founder of the dynasty Merovejovcov (sometimes also Merovingovcov).
