Never knew that the pope “baptised” coffee. Doesn’t surprise me, just didn’t know about it. Good article.

I have been drinking coffee since I was seven years old when I got my first taste from my grandfather while watching tv on saturday night it became a ritual with us after drinking coffee he sent me back home full of energy to my mom who really wanted me to go to bed so we could go to church on Sunday morning. … That was almost 40 yrs ago and my grandfather long since passed away and this is the first time I had heard this history of coffee after all these years.
