In Northern Israel Found an Ancient Tomb

Israeli archaeologists have discovered in the north in the village of Knar Hashers extremely ancient burial site. Scientists estimate that people were buried here around 6750-8500 years BC. In addition to the burial places near the graves and found the ancient figurines, seashells from the Mediterranean and Red Seas, as well as items delivered to the region from the territory of modern Syria and Cyprus.

Scientists say that, among other finds, archaeologists have found numerous phallic and vaginal symbols. According to experts, the ancient symbol of feminine and masculine mainly associated with fertility and prosperity.

At the moment, experts found 65 individual graves, and in each grave found remains of only young males under the age of 30 years. Between the graves, archaeologists have found many lime-plaster walls. Some graves are the twin tombs, and other L-shaped, others usually solitary. In addition, experts point to the fact that in some graves contain the remains of several dead, their bodies are aligned so as to obtain geometric shapes.

Israeli archaeologists say they discovered burial, definitely belonged to one of the tribes living on the site of the ancient city of Nazareth in the hills of Lower Galilee. Judging by the shape and symbolism of the burial, the people of this cult was extended burial. Head of the excavation, Professor Nigel Goring-Morris said that earlier in Israel was found buried, which found the remains exclusively male, aged about 40 years. Not a single female burial or disposal of  young  people were not there.

In the new burial were also found exotic minerals, which can be found on the shores of the Dead and Red Seas. Found in the tombs and malachite figures, symbols of obsidian (natural volcanic glass) and sharpened stones for cutting. According to scientists, pre-ceramic Neolithic era to the period when the first major communities have come together and settle along the fertile regions of the Middle East.
