“If the epidemic continues its mathematical rate of acceleration, civilization could easily disappear from the face of the earth within a few weeks” The Great Influenza Epidemic Happened just at The End Of World War I and killed more than the War itself. The death toll from the epidemic was more than 20 million people worldwide in The Space Of One And A Half Years. Out Of every 1000 people who were infected, 800 had Bad flu symptoms And 200 had lung complications,120 Of these Were Desprately Ill Or dying .
The Influenza Epidemic (Or Spanish Flu) Came In two phases The First In late spring known as the “three-day fever” Had Few Reported Deaths And Victims Recovered From The Weak Dose Within A Couple Of Days. It Then Surfaced Two Months Later, Doctors And Scientists Could Not Identify What The Deadly Sickness Was. The Virus Travelled extremely Fast With The Victims Dying After Only The First Symptoms Or For Some LIving For A Couple Of Days Before Finally Drowning In Their Own Body Fluid From Severe Hemorhaging In Their Lungs After The Bodies Reaction To The Lethal Virus. Doctors Then Injected Patients With The Blood Plasma Of A Cured Patient Boosting The Infected Persons Immune System As A Way To Stop The Deadly Strain Of Influenza Virus.
The Influenza Virus Traveled Around The World And Most of ManKind Felt It. The Virus spread Through trade routes, shipping lines And Troops Moving In World War One. Some countries thought The Epidemic Was Biological Warfare.Others thought it was a result of trench warfare Because Of the generated “smoke and fumes” of the war.
