Japanese Tragedy:negative Reactions

       Regarding the recent tragedy that happened in Japan, many people had different reactions about what happened.  Recently, Japan experienced an earthquake ranging from 8.9 -9.0 magnitude. This tragedy changed Japan’s normal way of living.

      There were different reactions from different people around the globe. Seems that some people were trying to be insensitive about what happened to their fellow people. I have been reading a link from one of the most famous social networking site and I was shocked when I saw the reaction of the people (not to mention their names) regarding the chaos Japan had.  It is so disappointing that people like them doesn’t even give sympathy to what happened to the Japanese people. It is true that each and every individual in this world has the right to give such reactions and point of view in every event that is happening in our lives, however, I pity those people who don’t even consider the situation of other people who are suffering because of what happened to their country. Some of them are yelling about what happened to their Pearl Harbor because the Japanese were responsible for its lost, but don’t  they even realize that the people who suffered from the earthquake were not even involved in the war when the Pearl Harbor was bombed.

      It really is hard to forgive someone if you don’t even know how to forget what happened in the past. What happened in Pearl Harbor has long been settled. Most of the people around the world are using Japanese products, cars, electronics and even food. Isn’t that enough for you to forgive them for that thing that the old Japan did to your country? My country was once conquered by Japan. Most of our people learned to forgive them because of the development they did to our country.

    I can’t seem to get the reason why you are planting a grudge against them when in fact; you didn’t even see what happened before the settlement of that war just like the Japanese who are living in Tokyo who were affected by the earthquake and tsunami.

    Right now, they don’t need us to lecture them or remind them about what happened in the past, the more important thing is for us to lend each other a hand for us to have a better and united world.

    I pray for the people and the country of Japan itself. May you have all the help that you will have and I pray that you will be able to recover from all those tragedy you are having right now.
