JFK Assassination Casebook: The Truth Behind Jack Ruby

Conspiracy theories always tickle our minds, so let us remind of what was happening back in the 60’s and if the truth will ever be revealed for our lifetimes.
Who was Jack Ruby? Behind the guy who killed lee Harvey Oswald in front of millions of TV viewers and thousands present in front of the police headquarters, there was much of dubious background.
In fact, Jack Ruby was as enigmatic as his victim Oswald was.
He was born in Chicago, and he had as a boy run errands for Al Capone and probably came to Texas as an emissary for the Chicago mob. He cultivated the members of local police in Dallas, which could be one of the reasons why he was able to gain easy access to the headquarters of the police.
It was known that Ruby made a few trips to Cuba, where he supposedly took part in gun running for forces hostile to Fidel Castro.
Nothing in the Warren Commission version is more dubious than the accepted fact that Ruby might have killed Oswald out of sudden caring feelings for President’s wife, Jackie Kennedy.
Actually, Ruby, who died shortly after in jail, in 1967, due to alleged cancer, was to let slip in TV interview that he did not think that the true facts about the case could have ever come up the surface, he stated, “because these people, unfortunately, who have so much to gain and have such an ulterior motive to put me in position I am in, will never let the truth come aboveboard to the world.”
Immediately after the assassination, with Cuba features in front of both Oswald and Ruby, the most popular theory was that Kennedy had been a victim of a communist plot.
Although, afterwards, the suspicion had focused much more on the Mafia as well as the CIA.
