Just Another Show

When as a surviving family member of a major turning point in life where someone you loved were so brutally killed and years later during a celebration of the death of the murder; you’d expect the invitee to say something constructive and encouraging wouldn’t you?

I can’t imagine how let down many of those family members must have felt when President Barack Obama treated the gathering as little more than a publicity stunt even though he did the inviting.

President Obama reportedly said that these people have been on his mind for a long time, but he couldn’t spare a word to them of encouragement and commend them for being strong and carrying on even though their lives had been turned upside down and inside out?

President Obama’s seeming lack of compassion for the American people in general as a whole is staggering; but this goes beyond insensitivity. One woman described the entire affair as though it were a neighborhood BBQ and President Obama was nothing more than a very popular neighbor just strolling in for a bite to eat, accepting the compliments, shaking hands and receiving hugs.

These American people have been through hell since 9/11 and all President Obama can do is to invite the families together for a quiet social? Why didn’t President Obama address the survivors properly and give them praise and encouragement? There was nothing even stated whether President Obama even thanked the survivors for their patience in having to wait so long to bring that murderer to justice.

I suppose looking at it from some American’s point of view could explain much after all this is the President that has permitted and almost demanded the Muslim Temple be allowed to be built nearly across the street from where so many lost their lives by Muslim Extremists even though so many people in the area are totally against it. It was actually stated once right after the announcement of the Muslim Temple being accepted there by President Obama, that the President was insensitive to the American people’s feelings. This seems to be a testimonial to the truth of that sentiment.

Could it be that Former President George W. Bush refused to attend that gathering because he saw the political show that was the true intent? If the Former President did I commend him for not being a party to the demeaning of those that have lost so much already.
