Life is a Pain
The longevity of one’s life.
So I have recently graduated highschool and had trouble grasping my mortality, and began to sit down and really think of what our society pushes us to accept. So the first thirty years or so we spend our lives studying so we can make more then enough money. The next thirty years we spend working because there seems to be a never ending need for money. We then have the remainder of our lives to …sit around. It seems like a waste that the prime of our lives is driven by a desire to receive more then we actually need instead of relaxing and then when our bodies become fragile we are allowed free time for various exhilarating activities such as sitting and talking. Instead of being under constant stress for so long it would be more ideal to just make enough money to support oneself and then relax, it would be more enjoyable. When I think about it I would be satisfied if I could simply spend everyday doing fun “stuff” with the people I like and be able to do “things” whenever I feel like. Life would be far more enjoyable if we could forget about the current factor for happiness, money.
