Many Bad Ideas

There have been many great ideas and inventions throughout time. Many have benefited society as a whole and allowed us to progress. However there are many ideas that probably should not have been followed through on. Here are a few of them

Deep-Fried Coke – So first we take an unhealthy drink that is basically carbonated sugar-water. Then we deep-fry it. To make it even worse we add whipped cream and there we have it, Deep-Fried Coke. It sounds intriguing but scary. I can literally feel my heart cringe and my pancreas scream. Although a novelty I wouldn’t want to make this a regular treat.

Lawn Darts – Everyone loves throwing a sharp flying object at a board, why not throw them at your lawn instead. Plus you aerate while playing, what could be better. How about at child’s game that doesn’t involve diving away from a wayward dart, especially with kids involved. This disaster of a game has resulted in three deaths and is banned in North America. If you really want to play there are safe lawn darts with no puncturing end.

Inflatable Dartboard – Yes there is a dart theme. Although not common there are actual inflatable dart boards. Most of them are huge and meant for other uses but still the concept is slightly pointless. Please until you plan to throw blunt objects at it do not buy an inflatable dart board.

Leaf Blowers – Some may see leaf blowers as a handy tool, especially in an older neighbor lined with trees. However I don’t really see the point in leaf blowers. You blow the leaves from one side of the lawn to the other and create a pile. Well how good is your control of air and flying leaves. If you are lucky they might land in the street or on your neighbour’s lawn where they are no longer your problem. I have heard reports of people really enjoying their leaf blowers. Then you hear the neighbour’s reaction…

Electing George Bush Twice – In my opinion, enough said.
