Marine Corps – Core Values

Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

HONOR – Ethical and moral behavior every Marine tries to uphold.  Never lie, cheat or steal.  These are the beliefs and principles that give us strength.  We live each day based on these beliefs.  They show the strength of our character, and our pursuit of excellence that we strive for day in and day out.

COURAGE – The mental, moral, and physical strengths in Marines that get them through combat and a mastery of fear.  The inner strength that allows a Marine to conduct themselves in high pressure and high risk situation without succumbing to fear.  This trait is what leads us to lead by example.

COMMITMENT – Commitment is what drives us to excel.  It leads Marines to master the art of war.  Commitment to excellence is what drives us and shows the world who we really are.  Enemies fear us, allies respect us, and the American people love and adore us.  There is nothing prouder than a Marine.
