Maya Calendar No Ends on December 21, 2012. When Comes The End of The World?
Two German scientists have revealed that the last day of the Mayan calendar is December 21, 2012. In one study, this time considered to be the day end of the world is changed by 104 years because of not taking into account the concordance between Maya and Christian calendar.

December 21, 2012 was hitherto regarded as the last day in the Mayan calendar and day and thus end the world. But scientists give us a window of a hundred years, ensuring that the calendar ends in 2116.
Bohm brothers, two German scientists have revealed a study published in the journal Astronomische Nachrichten, the date that is not the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, but in 2116. The two researchers ensure that previous calculations made by John Eric Sidney Thompson, a specialist of Maya civilization are not accurate.
Thompson made the adaptation period Maya civilization in the Christian calendar ignores the achievements of various cities and enemy tribes as 104 years have been forgotten.
In the study, was taken into account the different calendars used by the Maya civilization, the achievement by the brothers made their own calculations Bohm: a farm of 365 calendar days, a religious version of 260 days, one calendar day and a new cycle 1.872 million days.
To rewrite period Maya civilization, they compared these calendars and events concordantele of the Christian calendar.
This is not the first time on 21 December 2012 is modified by the researchers. For Gerardo Aldana, University of Santa Barbara, is really impossible to predict accurately the exact time and certainly when the Mayan calendar ends.
