Medical Miracles

If any of you have children you’ll really appreciate this story.  Nicholas Holderman was 17 months when his freak accident occurred.  This is an amazing story.  On September 2nd, Nicholas was playing was his two brothers, when he fell.  His parents thought at first that he may have just fallen and bumped his head.  Soon, they realized that they were living in a real nightmare.  To their amazement, baby Nicholas had fallen on a set of keys.  They had gotten lodged into his eye!  He was rushed to the emergency room, and underwent surgery.  Surgeons were amazed that he had not lost any of his eyesite!  He spend only 6 days in the hospital.  3 months later he is fully recovered!  What a miracle baby!

Michael Hill answered his door in April of 1998 to receive a knife plunged deep into his head.  He then walked over to his friends house with the huge knife still in his head.  It was four hours later that the knife was finally removed.  He had no infections and he left the hospital one week later.  Michael still has to undergo therapy to prevent seizures and his memory is not the same.

This next man has amazed all doctors that he is doing as well as he is!  His name is Mr. Peng. He is an inspiration to all of us!  He was hit by a lorry and it cut off half of his body!  Doctors say he should be dead, but this man beats all odds.  He has been chained to a bed for years until engineers made him artificial limbs.  Finally Mr. Peng can be independent and walk on his own!

Wow the next story really touched my heart.  Baby Sam Esquibel was still in his mommy’s tummy when doctors picked up on the ultrasound that he had what was thought to be a tumor in his head.  Tiffnie (mommy) was induced labor so that they could operate on baby Sam as soon as possible.  Doctors were not expecting to find what they found.  When operating on baby Sam’s brain, a foot popped out!!  They also found part of a thigh and a hand!!!  The doctor was shocked to find this!  This meant that baby Sam had a twin.

The next man is truly a medical miracle.  He had an iron bar stabbed right through his chest!  He survived surgery!  The iron bar was lying at a construction site when the taxi that Supratim Dutta was traveling in ran it over.  He was sitting in the passenger seat when the steel bar crashed through the windshield and impaled him through the chest.  This man is lucky to be alive!
