Miranda Thomas Remembered Tears are Not Enough
Our city lost another princess today, seven year old Miranda Thomas. Playing and doing what seven year old girls do, when a bullet found her and stole her from this life.
This morning 7 year old, Miranda Thomas did what little girls do on Saturday. She got up and played, laughed and danced; no doubt sang her own songs. No doubt, she did, until a street soldier with no honor came to administer justice, but, instead found the innocent. And the nation shouts, because tears are not enough.
No doubt, 7 year old Miranda Thomas did what she was told to do. ”Lie down, until the furious thunder stops.’ But, during the rage, her life was relinquished of her body and a her mother’s hope, became a memory. From the river banks, to the eastern edge, the city screams out, cause tears are not enough.
AMAZING GRACE!!!! How sweet the sound. Save us from ourselves. Amazing Graze, protect our children from the justice of the guilty.
Did I know 7 year old Miranda Thomas? I see her in the face of every child; black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Iranian, or Jewish, just looking to have a dream. As she lies cold the world was robbed of a princess, who was destined to be a queen. No doubt. Returned to the bosom of God; a soul cherished by angels. My soul cries out, cause tears are not enough.
RIP Miranda Thomas, stolen from us, August 27, 2011. Read the story here.

Tears are not enough. Capital punishment needs to be administered-swiftly- by the state.

Yes, Elements. Both men were arrested. I guess we can be thankful that thugs aren’t very smart. If they were, they wouldn’t have shot into the home of a pregnant woman with six children inside.
