Obama a Philanthropist;warship Donation to Nigeria

 The US president  Barack Obama approved that the war ship Chase belonging to the USA can be given to Nigeria on january 13,2011 and also gave another one to the Philippineswell this is good gesture and i can call Obama a philanthropist as thiswill enhance the coporation between both nigeria and the United States of America.this is coming at a time when the president of Ivory Coast Laurent Gbagbo refused to handover in an election he had lost to hisrival Alassane Ouattara and i think is for this regional role that nigeria plays in west Africa that made  Obama to approve thet transfer of the war ship Chasto nigeria  .Really i think that president Barack Obama of the United Statesi s a good philanthropist for approving this gesture to my country nigertia and we are going to use it to enhance peace in west Africa

  Initially it was said that both washipswill be given to Nigeria but one warship called Hamilton was given to Philippines and we are very grateful to Obama for this since he approved the transfer on january 13,2011 .  The warship Chase given to Nigeria has now be renamed NNS Thunder in honour of Nigerian navy

Well i think he did this so that nigeria can use it to enhance peace in west Africa and use it to deal with dictators like Laurent Gbagbo of Ivory Coast who refused to hand over power after losing an election last year

well Gbagbo lost and the resultswere announced in favour of his competitor Ouattara but he refused to hand over to the later and there was crisis the Ivory Coast that costed many their lives till the intervention of the french troopsafter igeria leading ECOWAS approved that Gbagbo should be removed from power by force

This thisis the reason for the kd donation by Obama to Nigeria so that Nigeria can use it to foster peace in west Africa

 According to the terms of the agreement on the transfer of the warship nigeria is to pay about $8m for the fueling of the ship for the journey  back to Nigeria in July this ,fixing of equipment to be used in the ship and for the training of the personnal that will manage the ship once it is under the full control of Nigeria .Obama also requires that nigeria cannot in any way transfer the ownership of the warship to any country that will use it against the US Intelligence

  So Obama you are really a philanthropist and we appreciate your  efforts well ,and am longing to see you win second term ticket in next US elections
